Committees

The Dallas Anime Meetup’s organizational structure consists of two committees:

  • Steering Committee
  • Event Committees

​The Steering Committee’s role is to lead the organization to fulfill its mission and goals through oversight of the organization’s operations, policies, and finances. 

The Event Committees’ roles are to increase member engagement and efficiency of events through compartmentalizing the ideas and activities of the organization. Each Event Committee is headed by a Director that oversees creating events, collaborating with members, and communicating with the Steering Committee.

Please note that while all committee members are dedicated to making DAM a great community, we are all still volunteers with day jobs.

Members of DAM can join any of the Event Committees at any time after submitting an application. Each Steering Committee and Event Director roles are elected annually by the members of Dallas Anime Meetup. If there are any positions vacant after the election, members can apply to fill a position here.
