Events
Overview
Events are the primary function that Dallas Anime Meetup (DAM) provides to its members and community. All official events created by the DAM are hosted on Meetup.com and adhere to it’s rules and policies. If you have any suggestions or event ideas, feel free to submit them by filling out our anonymous feedback form or in the #planning channel of our official Discord. Discord access is granted once you become a Meetup member.
Event Guidelines
All official DAM events organized on Meetup.com or the DAM Discord must follow the following guidelines:
- All events must be open to all active members of the Dallas Anime Meetup, unless specifically gated behind mature content for ages 18+ or 21+.
- If an event is intended for mature audiences only, it must be explicitly stated in the event description as 18+ or 21+.
- Any events with possible trigger warnings must be explicitly stated and clear in the description of the event.
- If the event is family friendly, it must be explicitly stated in the event description that all children and minors must be supervised and accompanied by an adult guardian.
Additional COVID-19 Event Guidelines
- Please do not attend any in-person events if you are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms.
- Members can still feel free to wear a mask and socially distance.
- Please respect other member’s personal space.
- Hosts can cap the attendance of their event as they see fit.
