No-Shows Policy

Policy Disclaimer for Events

If you are on the ‘Going’ list of events and can no longer attend the event, please remove update your RSVP as soon as possible! Otherwise, your no-show may be recorded.

Once you know you can no longer attend an event, please remove yourself at least two hours prior to the event by selecting “Not Going” so that the event host has time to make accommodations for said event. If for some reason you cannot update your RSVP, please reach out to the event host or an admin. In the event there is an emergency, please let us know when possible and you will not be penalized.

If you’ve marked your RSVP as “Maybe” you will not be penalized for a no-show. However, please be courteous to the event host and update your RSVP to “Going” at least two hours prior to the event if you’ve decided to attend.

Warnings

Whenever you have been recorded as a no-show for an event, a Steering Committee member or Moderator may reach out to you with a warning. This warning will account for your first offense. If a DAM member has three recorded no-shows within two months of the first offense, they will be suspended from attending all DAM events for one month.
